MEET ROSIE
From a young age i have always loved and cared for dogs but my journey truly took shape during my time working at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, an experience that fundamentally changed how I view canine behaviour.
In rescue, you quickly see a heartbreaking pattern: so many incredible dogs end up there simply because they are misunderstood or labeled as "too much" for a standard household.
Transitioning from rescue work to professional dog training, I had an "aha" moment. I realised that the vast majority of problem behaviours stem from unmet biological needs. Any dog who's needs aren't being met will always find its own, often destructive, outlets. Especially if they are high energy or working breeds.
That realisation is why I pivoted my entire approach toward breed-specific fulfillment. My ultimate goal is to transform the owner-dog relationship by giving dogs the natural outlets they crave; whether that’s sniffing, searching, retrieving, herding, or simply just giving them safe ways they can just be a dog.
By helping owners understand and satisfy the dog they actually have, we can build a balanced home, restore the joy of ownership, and ultimately keep dogs out of rescues in the first place.
